| Kuaska’s review Appearance is a fine deep gold, tending to orange with light amber reflections. The head is particularly fine and creamy, thick with small bubbles which make it adhere to the inside of the glass. Nose is at first dominated by lovely honey notes then comes a sweet malt and a fantastic syrupy peach remaining strong during the persistent back-odor. Taste in the mouth there is an explosion of syrupy fruity notes (apricot, pineapple, citrus fruit) living together with delicate honey notes. When the temperature rises, alcoholic notes come with a large variety of dried fruit soon dominated by wonderful roasted nut notes. Finish is bitter only for few seconds in the extreme back of the tongue before a sweet invasion from the tip of the tongue of rich, wrapping and warm fruity notes. |
Who is Brighella? A masked character from the Commedia Dell’Arte, he has ancient origins. Lazy, untruthful, dishonest, foul-mannered but clever, adaptable and not unused to words which reveal his literacy, he can also dance when he has to. His name Brighella is derived from the word ‘briga’ meaning he knows how to be an able servant when his master pays him well. |
